155-mm AS90 self-propelled howitzer

The 155-mm AS90 self-propelled howitzer is the standard tracked artillery piece of the British army. It replaced the 105-mm Abbot gun and the 155-mm M109 howitzer.

In its original configuration, the AS90 is a 39-caliber nuclear-capable howitzer equipped with an autoloader and an automatic navigation and laying system.
