Type 64 naval gun

The Bofors 40-mm/70-caliber automatic cannon has been fitted to several single and twin open naval gun mounts. The twin mounts are the Type 64 and Type 106; the single mounts are the Type 107 and Type 564. These mounts were succeeded in production by the enclosed Single or Twin Compact 40-mm. Compared to the later Twin 40-mm mounts, the Type 106 and 107 mounts were much heavier and less well protected against the weather.
