Breda Single Compact mount

The Breda Single 30-mm compact naval gun mount is similar to the Breda Twin 30-mm mount, but smaller than the twin version. It is fired under local optical control, remote optical fire control or radar control.

The gun is a Mauser Mk 30 Model F automatic cannons (see separate database entry). It is top-fed by dual curved feed systems that draw from two magazines in the mount that hold a total of 160 rounds (equivalent to a 12-second ammunition supply at full firing rate).
