The 57-mm Mk 110 naval gun system is a multi-mission-capable ship gun selected for the U.S. Coast Guard National Security Cutter. This is the U.S. version of the Bofors-built 57-mm Mk 3 naval gun system.
The 57-mm naval gun is a medium-caliber shipboard weapon that is effective against surface and airborne threats and some targets on shore. It is available in standard- and low-radar cross-section configurations.
