The M6 long-range mortar system provides infantry units with an integrated, accurate and supportable indirect fire-support capability. It was developed from Denel's 81-mm M3 mortar and is available as a conversion for the M3 or as a new-build weapon.
The system consists of the M6 weapon, fire control (observation and fire directing) and training simulator subsystems. The mortar can be configured for integration with armored personnel carriers or for dismounted infantry missions....
