The Multifunctional Weapon System (MWS) is a turret system that is based on Oto Melara's 76-mm/62-cal Super Rapido naval gun. It is designed to be integrated with a vehicle for use in counter-rocket artillery mortar (C-RAM), air defense and ground combat missions.

The turret can be easily installed on an 8 x 8 or tracked armored fighting vehicle without affecting crew seating.
