The Alliant Techsystems Bushmaster III automatic cannon is part of the Bushmaster chain gun series. The Bushmaster III comes with two bore sizes: 35-mm and 50-mm. It can fire 35-mm Oerlikon or 50-mm Supershot rounds.
The compact size of both variants allows easy upgrades of existing turrets.
Both systems support dual-linked and linkless feed systems. The cannon is externally powered to allow for maximum reliability and performance.
