The E8 one-person turret is intended to arm light infantry vehicles. The E8 can be used to engage ground targets and helicopters; it can also support dismounted infantrymen.
The E8 is equipped with a 30-mm x 373-mm MK 30-1 cannon as the main armament as well as a fire-control system. The cannon features a double-belt feed system.
