The XM360 is a lightweight 120-mm smoothbore cannon that was originally developed for the XM1202 Mounted Combat System (MCS), part of the now-defunct Future Combat Systems (FCS) program, and later as an upgrade for the M1 Abrams tank. The gun was designed in tandem with the MCS to reduce problems from integrating such a large gun on a 27-ton vehicle. The latest variant reportedly equipped the General Dynamics Griffin II.
