Stand-Alone Weapon System (SAWS)

The Stand-Alone Weapon System (SAWS) is a modular, multimission kit designed to be integrated with light and medium helicopters built by Eurocopter, such as the AS 550, EC 635, EC 645, AS 565, AS 532 and the EC 725. It is designed to give such helicopters the ability to perform intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance; airborne command-and-control; close air support; maritime patrol; and littoral warfare missions.
