The AM3C Bosbok, although of Italian design and manufacture, was used only by South Africa as the C4M Kudu in trainer, observation and liaison roles.

The Bosbok design was fairly conventional, if ungainly. Its fixed main landing gear legs were angled forward; the castoring tail wheel was fitted at the extreme end of the fuselage.
