The AG600 Kunlong is an amphibious aircraft built by the Caiga division of the Aviation Industry Corp. of China (AVIC) and designed for military and civilian applications. AVIC Aircraft of Xian also assisted in its development. Roles for the aircraft include supplying China's island outposts in the South China Sea; search-and-rescue; environmental monitoring; resources exploration; anti-smuggling; protection of China's sovereignty; and water bombing.
