The M-345 turbofan trainer aircraft is a further development of the M-311, which was a completely redesigned version of the S211 trainer (see separate record). The M-345 –- called the M-311 until 2012 –- is equipped with a digital cockpit and embedded simulation as well as a stores management system and digital moving map. It is designed for the basic-advanced fast jet phase of pilot training.
