The DA20 is a light training aircraft in wide civilian service. It has also been acquired by the Ecuadorian, Polish and U.S. air forces. The U.S. Air Force uses the DA20 for initial flight screening at Colorado Springs, Colo.
The aircraft has a composite, damage-tolerant airframe with a protected fuel system. The airframe's rivet-free construction reduces drag and weight. Low maintenance polyurethane paint is resistant to ultraviolet rays. The composite airframe is easily repaired...
