The X-61A Gremlin uncrewed aerial vehicle (UAV) was developed by Dynetics, a subsidiary of Leidos, for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency's (DARPA's) Gremlins recoverable, low-cost UAV program. It is designed to be launched and recovered by a C-130 Hercules cargo aircraft in flight.
The fueselage of the Gremlin is 14 ft (4.3 m) long, 1 ft 11 in (0.6 m) wide and 1 ft 9 in (0.5 m) tall. The UAV has a supercritical airfoil wing design, with a span of 11 ft 5 in (3.5 m)....
