The Strix is a mini-uncrewed aerial vehicle (UAV) intended for tactical operations. The air vehicle can be launched by hand or by catapult and is designed to fly high and quiet for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) missions. The name "Strix" is a genus of owl; it is taken from the ancient Roman and Greek word for owl.
