The RQ-16 Tarantula Hawk (T-Hawk) micro air vehicle (MAV) system consists of two miniature air vehicles and a ground station. The aircraft provides intelligence and reconnaissance from thermal forward and downward looking electro-optical and infrared imaging sensors.

A video feed to the ground station provides real-time viewing and recalls stored images. The MAV can be equipped with other modular payloads.

The T-Hawk is small enough for a soldier to carry on his back or in hand....
