The NXT-400 was a subscale, subsonic aerial target drone intended to carry common target and training payloads at high speeds. It was designed to be a low-cost, high-performance target and training system.

The system, which did not advance past development, was self-contained and fully autonomous. It could be launched from a pneumatic launcher or from another aerial platform. The NXT-400 included an integrated ground station and command-and-control system.
