The Mirach 70 uncrewed aerial vehicle featured a fuselage with a nose-mounted piston engine driving a puller propeller; a tailplane with endplate tailfins; and a straight wing set at the midfuselage. It has been removed from service.
A booster rocket was attached under the fuselage for assisted takeoff and was jettisoned once the remotely piloted vehicle (RPV) was aloft. The Mirach 70 had a remotely controlled parachute for recovery.
