The Futura is a delta-wing medium-range unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) designed for fast tactical reconnaissance, surveillance and target missions. It can be employed by ground forces and from maritime vessels.

The airframe is constructed from composite materials to optimize weight. It is powered by a turbojet engine.

The system is launched by rail. Recovery is by either skid landing or parachute.

The armed configuration is similar to that of the Rheinmetall Taifun.
