The Dragon Warrior was designed as a prototype close-range tactical unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) with vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) capability.
It was intended for reconnaissance, surveillance and target acquisition (RSTA); route and landing zone reconnaissance; and target identification and location missions. Other possible missions included adjusting indirect fires; battle damage assessment; and rear-area security.
