The BURRO (Broad-area Unmanned Responsive Resupply Operations) was an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) based on the K-Max helicopter (see separate record).
The BURRO was designed to provide vertical lift for cargo, sensor and communications packages, as well as non-standard casualty evacuation. It could also serve as a combat weapons platform.
