The Azimut hand-launched unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) is intended for use in close-range surveillance. It is intended for paratroop, paramilitary and border security operations.
The air vehicle is made from composite materials. It can carry an infrared or charge-coupled device camera on a two-axis gimbal with real-time video downlink.
The system features an S-band data link and radio modem. Guidance and tracking are via an autopilot and GPS.
