The AD-150 was a high-speed vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). It was equipped with a tilt-duct propulsion system that enabled VTOL and high-speed efficient cruise operations, according to the manufacturer. This made the aircraft ideal for ground and naval operations.
Potential missions included intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and reconnaissance (ISTAR), electronic attack, logistics resupply and attack.
