The Madcap was an airborne warning and control system (AWACS) aircraft derived from the An-72/An-74 Coaler (see separate database entry).
The wing had a high aspect ratio of 10.31 and a leading edge swept at 17 degrees outside of the engines. The trailing edge was unswept out to mid-span with the outer panels being only slightly swept.
