CH-53K King Stallion

The CH-53K King Stallion is the Navy's replacement for the aging CH-53E Super Stallion. It will maintain almost the same footprint as its predecessor but with nearly three times the payload under hot and high conditions. It is designed to carry a cargo load of 27,000 lb (12,200 kg) 110 nautical miles, operating at an altitude of 3,000 ft (900 m) and an ambient temperature of 92 degrees Fahrenheit.
