The HV-609 was a multimission tiltrotor aircraft proposed by Bell and Lockheed Martin for the U.S. Coast Guard Deepwater program (which has since ended). As noted below, the aircraft was renamed AW609 in 2011.

AgustaWestland's applications of the AW609 tiltrotor are projected to include, VIP/corporate, homeland security, search-and-rescue and emergency medical services.
