J-7 (Jian-7) Fishbed

The J-7 is a Chinese-produced adaptation of the Soviet MiG-21 Fishbed. It is in service with Chinese and other air forces.

The J-7 is similar in appearance to the Soviet original. It features the usual MiG-family open-nose engine air intake and fuselage-mounted engine. The delta wing, set at mid-fuselage, has a leading-edge sweep of 57 degrees and 2 degrees of anhedral. The aircraft has a sharply swept tailfin and tailplanes with clipped tips.
