The Viscount was a four-engine turboprop airliner that was in limited military service as a VIP transport.
The Viscount had its engines in nacelles faired into the double-tapered wing, set low at mid-fuselage. Tailfin and tailplane had rounded tips, and the flight deck bulged out above the downward-slanting nose. Landing gear was retractable tricycle, with the main wheels retracting into the inboard engine nacelles.
