The Boeing C-32A was an off-the-shelf solution to the problem of aging in the U.S. Air Force's 89th Airlift Wing's 99th Airlift Squadron, which provides aircraft for special air missions (SAM) that transport high-ranking government officials such as the vice president, members of the president's Cabinet and congressional delegations.
