The Super Mystere was a French aircraft designed as an interceptor. It also saw limited service as a dual-mission fighter/ground attack aircraft.
The Super Mystere resembled its U.S. contemporary, the F-100 Super Sabre. As did the Super Sabre, the Super Mystere had a low swept-wing configuration, flattened underfuselage, fuselage-embedded engine and oval engine air intake in the nose. It was smaller than the Super Sabre and had a tailplane inset on the tailfin above the fuselage....
