U.S. Airstrikes Kill 16 Suspected Al-Shabaab Fighters

U.S. Africa Command, in cooperation with the Somali government, has conducted several airstrikes against Al-Shabaab terrorist targets in southern Somalia.

On April 2, an AFRICOM air attack near Bush Madina in the Bay region killed three terrorists, reported the command.

The next day, the U.S. conducted another strike in the same area, killing five militants.
