Turkish, U.S. Air Force Jets Deploy On Air-Policing Missions

Fighter aircraft from Turkey and the U.S. have deployed as part of NATO air-policing missions in Poland and Iceland, reports the alliance.
On Tuesday, four Turkish air force F-16 fighters and 80 support personnel deployed to the Malbork air base in Poland to support the Polish air force, a NATO spokesperson said on Wednesday.
The Turkish contingent is expected to remain in Poland until mid-September, reported the Anadolu Agency (Ankara).
