Queen Elizabeth Carrier Cuts Short Sea Trials After Leak

Britain's new aircraft carrier has cut short sea trials after springing a leak, reports the Daily Telegraph (London).
HMS Queen Elizabeth was forced to return to port after a high-pressure seawater pipe burst on Tuesday, reported BBC News.
About 250 tons of water spilled into the ship, flooding two compartments and a stairwell. Water in some areas reached neck height.
The flooding buckled a stairwell, bent some bulkheads and split some deck plates, the Telegraph said.
