Order Placed For New Reconnaissance Vehicles

The Swiss arms procurement agency has finalized a contract with General Dynamics European Land Systems-Mowag for reconnaissance vehicles, reports the defense firm.
The deal, the value of which was not made public, covers 100 Eagle 6 x 6 vehicles equipped with a reconnaissance suite.
The vehicles will serve as the platform for the Swiss army's TASYS reconnaissance system, which includes a telescoping mast with a multisensor system and a data-processing system. A remote weapon...
