Navy Shows Off Hsiung Feng Anti-Ship Missiles During Drill

The Taiwanese navy has publicly revealed its Hsiung Feng anti-ship cruise missiles, reports the Asia Times.

On Jan. 2, the navy released footage of Hsiung Feng-3 anti-ship cruise missile being launched from a Tuo Chiang-class stealth corvette.

The Hsiung Feng-3 has a reported range of 18 miles (40 km) to 250 miles (400 km), can reach speeds of Mach 3 and can employ high-g random weaving maneuvering at sea-skimming altitudes. The missile features both solid- and liquid-fuel...
