Lockheed Martin and WZL‑1 Expand Apache Sustainment Support in Poland

On March 23, Lockheed Martin has partnered with Poland’s Wojskowe Zakłady Lotnicze Nr 1 (WZL‑1) to support the Polish Armed Forces’ growing AH‑64E Apache helicopter fleet, following Poland’s 2024 contract to acquire 96 aircraft.

Under the partnership, Lockheed Martin and WZL‑1 will establish a new Apache sensor sustainment facility in Łódź, enabling in-country maintenance and repair. The center will support Generation 4 Target Acquisition Designation Sight/Pilot Night Vision Sensor (TADS/PNVS) systems and the LONGBOW Fire Control Radar.
