Belgium Receives First Airbus H145M Military Helicopter

On June 24, 2026, Airbus announced that Belgium received its first H145M helicopter. The aircraft will support both the Belgian Armed Forces and the Federal Police, and Belgium has already expanded its order by adding three more helicopters, bringing the total fleet to 20.

The H145M is the military variant of the twin-engine H145 helicopter. Powered by two Safran Arriel 2E engines, the platform integrates advanced digital systems to optimize performance. It also features an autopilot system delivers one of the lowest noise profiles of any helicopter in its class.
