Bandits have shot down an air force light attack aircraft in northwestern Nigeria, reports the Premium Times (Abuja).
On Sunday, the Alpha Jet was returning from a strike mission against armed groups on the border of the Zamfara and Kaduna states when it came under heavy fire and crashed in Zamfara state, the air force said on Monday.
