Al-Shabaab Ambushes Bus Near Somali Border

Al-Shabaab militants have attacked a bus leaving the city of Mandera along the Kenyan border with Somalia, reports the Shabelle Media Network (Mogadishu).

On Wednesday, at least 10 gunmen opened fire on a bus traveling to Nairobi that was carrying at least 60 people, shooting out the tires and spraying the passengers with gunfire.

The surviving passengers fled into the bush, where locals helped them hide.
