All seven troops onboard an Afghan army transport helicopters died when it crashed in the northern Balkh province, reports the Tolo News (Kabul).
On Tuesday, the Mi-17 went down outside Mazar-e-Sharif, the provincial capital, said a defense ministry spokesman.
The helicopter was flying from an army base in the city for a training mission when it experienced a technical problem, said officials quoted by Agence France-Presse.
