Five Nigerian troops have been killed in a helicopter crash during operations against the Boko Haram terrorist group in Borno state in northeastern Nigeria, reports the Vanguard (Lagos).
On Wednesday, an air force Mi-35M helicopter went down while conducting operations in support of the 145 Battalion in Damasak near the border with Niger, said service officials.
Two pilots, two gunners and a flight technician were killed in the crash, the officials said.
