10 Al-Shabaab Militants Killed In U.S. Airstrikes

At least 10 members of the Somali militant group Al-Shabaab have been killed in recent U.S. airstrikes, reports the U.S. Africa Command.

On Sunday, a U.S. airstrike in Dheerow Sanle, Lower Shabelle region, killed six fighters and destroyed a vehicle, the command said in a statement. 

Two airstrikes on Monday near Baqdaad killed four militants, it said. 

AFRICOM did not assess any civilian casualties in either strike.
