Aircraft Programs

The Thai government proposed a THB200.3 billion defense budget for 2024-2025 – a 1 percent increase from the previous fiscal year. Full approval for the budget has not yet been obtained and was expected by September 2024.

The Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) reportedly requested a budget of THB40 billion for FY24, nearly THB4 billion more than what was allocated in FY23, to upgrade and replace critical aircraft and components.
