Luxembourg's 900-strong standing army has relatively limited arms requirements and consequently procures little military equipment.
 
The most recent land systems procurement came in early 2008, when Luxembourg chose the Dingo 2 4x4 all-protected vehicle by Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (KMW) for its Protected Reconnaissance Vehicle (PRV) program.
