Ongoing Programs and Future Requirements

In June 2011, the U.S. announced it was providing US$45 million in aid to Burundi and Uganda, including four RQ-11 Raven uncrewed aerial vehicles for use in A.U. missions in Somalia. The assistance also included body armor, night-vision equipment, communications and heavy construction equipment, generators and surveillance systems.
