The submarine remotely operated vehicle (SUBROV) is an underwater unmanned vehicle (UUV) designed to operate from a standard 21-in (533-mm) submarine torpedo tube. It has the ability to engage in a variety of missions including sub inspection, underwater work, mine countermeasures, observation, communication, special operations forces support and as an aid in the recovery of autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs).
