The Minesniper is a one-shot mine-disposal system in service with the Norwegian and Spanish navies. It is designed to destroy mines quickly and inexpensively. It is effective against deep and shallow water moored mines as well as bottom-lying devices. The original baseline production variant was the Minesniper Mk II.
