The Hammerhead is an unmanned surface vessel (USV) designed to simulate a range of naval threats and serve as an operational training target for naval forces. The vessel is derived from Meggitt Training Systems-Canada's Barracuda naval target. The speedboat replicates naval tactics and a variety of operational guidance plans, such as straight-on high-speed attacks, crossing patterns, zig-zag patterns and other evasive maneuvers.
