The Double Eagle Mk III is a remotely operated underwater vehicle designed for survey work, surveillance, detection, classification and identification of underwater threats, including mines and other objects. It is equipped with minehunting sonar and operates several hundred meters ahead of a mother ship, most likely a mine countermeasure vessel. This ROV allows navies to detect mines early while increasing safety levels in a potential minefield.
